Resumo:
Public Policies on Education for Sustainable
Development focuses on policy options to
improve the integration of environmental considerations
into the working of the economic system
and to address some of the social and educational
consequences of better integration. High priority
needs to be put on building stronger support
within governments and society for comprehensive
implementation of sustainable development
policies. Sustainability depends on maintaining
basic ecosystem services, a healthy environment
and cohesive societies and balancing these elements
will require stronger public policies on
education.
